The Chaos Is Increasing

Have you noticed how increasingly chaotic the world has become in recent years?
Consider the following

• Wars & rumours of wars
• Earthquakes, Volcanic eruptions, Natural disasters including Famine
• Riots & social unrest
• Migration from poorer countries to the richer
• Abandonment of traditional social values
• Distrust in all forms of authority eg politicians, the police,  medical profession, religious leaders
• Misinformation & problem of truth in social media
• A rise in sexual immorality & gender confusion
• Increased selfishness & materialism
• Rise of nationalism & use of terrorism
• Abandonment of Judaeo-Christian morality
• Moral relativism
• Scientific rationalism & techno-humanism
• The rise of Occultism, New Age, Paganism, Witchcraft & Satanism in the media & internet

The Biblical Warnings of Chaos In The End Times 

In Matthew 24:4-8 Jesus warns his disciples there will be chaos in the end times before his return to bring in God's eternal kingdom-rule.
“Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."

In 2 Timothy 3:1-5  Paul writes: "But mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God  – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.*
