Traditional Judaeo-Christian faith and values are under increasing attack

In the Western world from societies that have abandoned their belief in the one true Living God. These attacks include -

• Atheist denials of the existence of God or life after death

• Humanist, secular society arguments that man is the measure of all things

• Scientific claims to have the answers to society's problems

• The scientific quest for omniscience and immortality

• Darwinian evolutionary theories about the origins of life

• The claim that human beings are simply animals - "man is the hairless ape"

• The rise of moral relativism and the denial of good and evil

• Materialist, reductionist worldviews that treat human beings as machines

• Denial of the divine inspiration and authority of Scripture

• Religious pluralism and the New Age that claims all religions lead to heaven

• An increase in occult practices, paganism, witchcraft and satanism

• The rise of militant Islam and the use of terror

• The emergence of the 'Post-Truth' society and strategies of disinformation

• The satanic reversal of good and evil, right and wrong, black and white

• Increasing mockery of religious beliefs in the media

• The despair resulting from idolatry, humanism, materialism, and hedonism

• The rise of the New Age movement for one world government, one world economy and one world religion as a prelude to the arrival of the Anti-Christ.

The Bad News: We Live In A Spiritual War-zone  2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-5

In the face of such an onslaught we need to remember the supernatural nature of the warfare in which we are engaged as Christians.
