God Loves To Speak To His Children

God loves to communicate with his children today just as we see him communicating with individuals in the Bible. In the story of Samuel in 1 SAMUEL 3:1-10, we see how a young boy had to learn to recognise God's voice. If we are to grow in our relationship with God as our heavenly Father, we need to learn to recognise the ways he speaks to us personally.

God speaks to his children today in similar ways to those we see in the Bible.

In which of the ways listed below have you experienced God speaking to you?

Through PICTURES (still or moving) while praying or reading the Bible
Through A STILL, SMALL VOICE as God spoke to Elijah
  Through DREAMS while sleeping
Through SCRIPTURE while reading the Bible, through sermons, on TV or the Internet
Through HYMNS, SONGS & CHORUSES at different times of day or night
During times of PRAISE & WORSHIP
When quietly MEDITATING ON GOD'S WORD
Through OTHER CHRISTIANS at fellowship group or on the phone
Through CIRCUMSTANCES (‘God-incidences’), especially after praying
  Through A VAGUE IMPRESSION /'WHISPER'  - to phone/visit someone
Through WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE or PICTURES WHILE MINISTERING
Through a WORD OF PROPHECY spoken in church or fellowship group
Through the beauty of CREATION like a sunset or when out on the hills
Through BEAUTIFUL MUSIC, ART or NATURE
At CERTAIN TIMES OF THE DAY  eg Early in the morning
