Heaven & Hell: The Evidence Of Clinical Death Experiences

The Apostle Paul's Out-Of-The-Body Near Death Experience
In 2 CORINTHIANS 12:1-10 Paul describes the out-of-the body experience of a man, who turns out to have been himself. In verse 2-4 he writes:
I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know — God knows. And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows — was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.
The experience was almost certainly when he was stoned and left for dead at Lystra some fourteen years earlier.
The account of this is to be found in ACTS 14:8-20. It happened after Paul and Barnabas had been instrumental in the healing of a lame man.
The reaction of the locals was to treat them as if the pagan gods had come down from heaven. When Paul remonstrated with them by saying they were just human beings: the man had been healed by the risen and exalted Jesus Christ, the crowd turned on them and stoned Paul, leaving him for dead. Local believers ministered to him, including probably Timothy and his mother.
Clinical Death Experiences As Evidence Of Life After Death
American cardiologist Dr Maurice Rawlings was an atheist who did not believe in heaven and hell. But his views changed as a result of witnessing the experiences of patients who passed through his emergency room. His research resulted in a book and video testimonies of people who had experienced the reality of heaven and hell entitled TO HELL & BACK.
Video Testimonies of Clinical Death Experiences
