God created us for relationship with him. Our problem is that we were born rebels.

Looking For Love In The Wrong Direction

When God created angels and human beings, he created them for a loving relationship with him. That's because God designed us to find our three crucial needs for security, self-worth and significance to be satisfied only in him.

Man's inherited tendency since his rebellion in the Garden of Eden is to try to satisfy these three crucial needs for security, self-worth and significance in any way s/he can without reference to God.
