Variety Of Forms & Styles Of Worship
There are all sorts of ways we may express our praise and worship to God from silent meditation and heartfelt adoration to exuberant song and dance routines.
PSALM 150 Various Ways To Praise & Worship God
1Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
David's Extravagant Worship
In 2 SAMUEL 6:14-15 we read that David danced before the LORD as the Ark was carried into Jerusalem.
Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might, while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts and the sound of trumpets.
