It was my sin that nailed Jesus to the Cross at Calvary.
He took the punishment I deserved so that I can be put right in the eyes of a holy God who hates sin but loves sinners.

When Jesus cried: "It is finished!", he was saying that he had done it: his mission to save sinners from going to a Christless eternity in hell had been accomplished.
