The Holy Spirit Energises The Written Word
The Holy Spirit, who inspired the various authors of the different books in the Bible, is the Person of The Trinity who brings the Word of God alive to us as we surrender ourselves to God and experience being born from above at conversion. The Bible suddenly becomes alive and it seems at times as if words or phrases 'jump off the page' as we read.
HEBREWS 4:12 The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
The Holy Spirit Is Our Compass & Points Us To Jesus
The Bible Is Our Road Map Showing Us The Way

Every compass needle has a magnetised pointer that always points to magnetic north. When used properly with the Ordnance Survey map, it will lead you safely to your destination.
The Bible is our spiritual guide map and the Holy Spirit guides us towards Jesus because he is the One who said:
"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to God the Father except through (faith in/an encounter with) me." JOHN 14:6
