God Is Eternal & Uncreated

When we say that God is eternal, we mean he HAS ALWAYS EXISTED & ALWAYS WILL EXIST and that he is UNCREATED.

PSALM 90:2  Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

PSALM 103:17 But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children.

ISAIAH 43:10   “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.

As finite human beings bound by time, we find it impossible to comprehend how something or someone can be eternal. But God is outside the limitations of time as we know it.

God Is Unchangeable

In a world of constant change and apparent chaos it is reassuring to know that God never changes  -  he is absolutely constant.

HEBREWS 13:8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
