God Created Human Beings In His Image

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

So God created mankind in his own image,in the image of God he created them; he created them male and female." ~ GENESIS 1:26-27

The Image Of The Creator Reflected In Human Beings

Although that divine image has been tarnished by human sin, the divine likeness can be seen in human beings created with aspects of God's personality.

Jesus Is The Exact Image Of God The Father     COLOSSIANS 1:15-16

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. (NIV)

If we want to know what God looks like, Jesus says, we need to look at him.

In JOHN 14:9-11 Philip said, “LORD, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

Jesus replied: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves."

The Son's Radiance With The Shekinah Glory Of God  HEBREWS 1:3

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
